The Town of Pennington Gap would like to give a huge shoutout to the entire Welding Class at the Lee County Career & Technical Center (LCCTC) for building the handrails for the new patio at the Community Center. Three of the students—Harley Spears, Ethan Pennington, and Aiden Troutman—were at the site on April 16 to install the rails they helped create. We’d also like to thank the Auto Body Shop students at LCCTC for doing a great job painting the handrails. This project is a great example of what happens when education and community come together.
