The top spellers at the Lee County Spellling Bee are shown, left to right: Maddox McQueen - third place, Bethany Singleton - first place, and Aurora Hart - second place. The annual Spelling Bee was held on March 7 with 25 rounds required to declare a champion.

Thomas Walker’s Amelia Lewis was a silver medal performer in the 1600 and 3200 meter races on Saturday at the Pepsi Five Star Invitational.
